Which 放置 Option Is Right For You?

• Our placement options are only open to students who have submitted 的ir application and intend to enroll at vwin德赢娱乐官网入口.
• 学生 who graduated from a U.S. high school within 的 last 10 years should use Option 1 – Self Report with Your High School Transcript.
• 学生 who have been out of high school for more than 10 years should use Option 2 – Guided Self 放置.
• International students should use Option 2 – Guided Self 放置.
• English as a Second Language (ESL) students should complete 的 ESL Guided Self 放置.

数学+英语

To find out your math and/or English course placement(s), you have two options: 自我报告 or 引导自我定位.

• If you received a diploma from a U.S. high school within 的 last 10 years, you can use your high school transcripts for a placement. Use Option 1 below to self-report your information. Current high school students who have 完成11th grade should also use this option.
• If you received a high school diploma more than 10 years ago, did 不 receive a diploma, or have a diploma from a不her country, please use Option 2 below, 的 guided self-placement. Current high school students who have 不 完成11^th grade should also use this option.
• If English is 不 your first language, consider completing 的 ESL Guided Self 放置.

Option 1 – Self Report With Your High School Transcript

Use this option if you received a diploma from a U.S. high school in 的 last 10 years.

• You will need your vwin德赢娱乐官网入口 username and password.
• After entering all of your information, select “My Info is Correct” to begin processing your placement.
• If English is 不 your first language, consider completing 的 ESL Guided Self 放置.
• Please allow 24 hours for your results to be processed.

Option 2 – Guided Self 放置

Use this option if you received a high school diploma more than 10 years ago, did 不 receive a diploma, or have a diploma from a不her country.

• You will need your vwin德赢娱乐官网入口 username and password.
• Answer 的 survey questions to receive your placement.
• If English is 不 your first language, consider completing 的 ESL Guided Self 放置.
• Please allow 24 hours for your results to be processed.

What is 的 ESL Guided Self 放置?

The ESL Guided Self 放置 [GSP] is an online survey that helps you choose 的 正确的水平 对于你的课程.

ESL普惠制:

• Requires Internet access
• Will take up to one hour of your time
• Has 3 sections: Reading, Listening & 写作
• Will give you information about credit & non-credit options in 的 英语部门
• Will tell you what classes you should register for  
• Will take 24 hours for your results to be processed.

Understanding Your ESL 放置

 The Guided Self 放置 was created to provide a full placement into ESL courses based on four components: reading, 语法, 听/说, 和写作.

西班牙的位置

To complete 的 西班牙语 placement challenge, contact 的 中心位置 atassessment@yuxinglaser.com or 510.215.3896.

To understand your 西班牙语 placement, locate your score within 的 chart. To 的 right of your score, you will find 的 recommended course placement.

Documented Disabilities Testing
